A brief knowledge of Conditional Sentences:
A conditional sentence expresses a condition and its possible result. It usually contains two clauses: the if-clause, which states the condition, and the main clause, which expresses the result.
Example: If it rains, we will stay in the hall.
Here, if it rains is the condition, and we will stay in the hall is the result.

Main Types of Conditional Sentences
1. Zero Conditional
Structure: If + present simple, present simple
Use: To express general truths, scientific facts, and things that regularly happen.
Example: If you heat water, it boils.
2. First Conditional
Structure: If + present simple, will + base verb
Use: To describe real or possible situations and their likely future results.
Example: If you go now, you will meet him.
3. Second Conditional
Structure: If + past simple, would + base verb
Use: To describe imaginary, unlikely, or unreal situations in the present or future.
Example: If I were rich, I would help the poor.
4. Third Conditional
Structure: If + past perfect, would have + past participle
Use: To describe unreal situations in the past and their imagined results. It often expresses regret or considers what might have happened differently.
Example: If she had gone fast, she would have saved the child.

Important Rules
Rule 1: When the if-clause comes first, use a comma between the clauses. Example: If you hurry, you will catch the ball.
Rule 2: When the main clause comes first, a comma is usually unnecessary. Example: You will catch the ball if you hurry.
Rule 3: Generally, do not use will in the if-clause of a standard first conditional. Correct: If it rains, we will stop working. (Incorrect: If it will rain, we will stop working.)
